Haga Tower was opened in 1957 at Råsundavägen 1 in Solna. The building took its original inspiration from the contemporaneous Pirelli Tower in Milan, designed by architect and designer Giò Pontis. Hotel Giò continues this trend with its period staircases, artwork and doors – all of the interiors are fully inspired by 1950’s Italy. Giò also offers an enticing gym with a lounge vibe and is the proud home of Mama Giò – the hotel’s bar, restaurant and terrace which serves Italian food and drink in a warm and welcoming environment.

Giò is owned and run by KFUM Central, a non-profit association with 3,000 members based in Norrmalm. All profit from the hotel business goes to the association which is active within sports, camping, culture,integration and international work, mostly for the benefit of young people.
